As fermentation is a rapidly growing global industry, there is a great need for more sustainable and less expensive growth medium. Our circular solution solves this. The conversion of food waste will give us high–value, sustainable products relevant for a number of markets.

Our liquid growth medium is suitable as a competitive source of carbohydrates for fermentation in various microbe cultivation, ensuring efficient and sustainable growth. 

We have successful experience with both microalgae and lactic acid bacteria. Microalgae have great potential as an alternative source of marine protein and omega-3 oils and can be commercialized for animal feed and aquaculture.

From the fermentation of lactic acid bacteria , lactic acid will be produced, which can be used to produce environmentally friendly bioplastic.
